Our Story
PMAC was launched in June 2018 with 35 children attending summer camp. PMAC now operates at 1215 Buncombe Road in the Poe Mill Neighborhood and serves 40 children daily. Check out the video below to “see” more of PMAC!

Delight

We want our kids to Discover what gets them excited about life! Whether it’s the arts, athletics, academics, or somewhere in between, we want to offer children the chance to explore what the world offers.

We ultimately want children to take their Delights and Discoveries and Develop into good citizens who can contribute positively to their communities.

Our Staff
Hannah Dixon
Hannah Dixon is from Morganton in the foothills of Western North Carolina. She is a graduate of Furman University and returned to Greenville after working for two years on the coast at the Barrier Island Environmental Education Center. After working as both a teacher and after-school teacher for four years, she started PMAC in 2018 with her husband, Bennett.
Hannah is Executive Director of PMAC.
Bennett Dixon
Bennett is from Greenville, SC. After graduating from UNC-Chapel Hill and working for a year at the Barrier Island Environmental Education Center, he returned to his hometown to work in after-school programming.
Bennett is the Program Director of PMAC.
Ellie Rhyne
Ellie is from Central, SC and graduated from Anderson University. After graduation, she moved to Virginia to work in recreational programming for inner city community centers. She has a variety of experience with populations including special needs, youth, and geriatrics. She returned to Greenville to continue youth programming in the area she grew up in.
Ellie is the Program Coordinator at PMAC.
Annabelle Trimble
Annabelle is from Redding in Northern California. She is a graduate from Chico State and majored in Elementary Education. After serving in Americorps working in schools for two years, she moved to Greenville and taught second grade before coming to PMAC.
Annabelle is an After-School teacher.
Janette Chavez
Janette is from Spartanburg, SC and graduated from Southeastern University in Florida. She moved back to Greenville after living abroad for several years where she got to teach English. She also taught ELA for middle school before joining PMAC.
Janette is an After-School Assistant Teacher.
